After snack this morning, I took Henry and Allison to the water resource center to play for an hour or so before nap time. Henry had been there before, but it was when he was crawling...I can't believe how much a difference a few month can make. Now he is walking...very quickly... and is able to reach a lot of the buttons on the displays. He could also play on the play gym almost independently...still needs some help with the steps...where as last time I was prodding him to even get on it. He loved walking around and exploring everything they had there. I also showed the kids some frogs and fish they had in aquariums. I'm pretty sure Henry said fish!
This was Allison's first time there. She liked playing with the blocks, watching a ball go inside this tube toy, and looking at herself in the big mirror. And the big fountain out front was a big hit. I think if she could she would of liked to get in it!
We lucked out and there was another child there to play with! He is 13 months old, but because he was born 3 months early, has the development of a 10 month old. He had the prettiest blue eyes and curly hair! It was cute to see the babies interact with each other. It was also nice to chat with another stay at home mom. I hope we we run into them again!
