For Christmas Eve, I wanted to do something really fun with the kids, so we decided to go to Chuck E Cheese and have a pizza party! Devin had a blast! I gave him $10 worth of tokens and off he went. Henry enjoyed the pizza and two of the car rides. Allison ate a bunch of baby cheeto puffs, a couple bites of pizza, and tolerated the Meryy-go-round ride.
I've heard of kids club, but had never been. Thinking about what to do with Devin while he was on winter break it popped into my head. I was sure he'd love it, but wasn't sure how Henry would do. He was a bit over whelmed when we climbed up to the top of the jungle area, so we spent our time on the slides and in the toddler area. He found some balls...his favorite and carried them around the whole time...sucking and biting on them...GROSS... I'm sure he'll be sick next week! Devin had a blast and as soon as we got in the car to go home he asked when we were coming back. We spent a good 2 hours there.

Yesterday we took a field trip to the water resource center. We will definitely be coming back here! Henry played with nesting blocks, his first time with these. He wasn't sure how to get them apart, but kept trying. He played with them for about 20 mins! He also found a shape sorter...he has one of these at home and spends a lot of time with it. I thought it was interesting he went towards that toy. He also found some small cars, and "drove" them all around. I had to show him how to get onto the play equipment. He wasn't interested at first, but he warmed up to it quickly. Devin spent majority of his time looking at the exhibits, and on the computer playing games.
I loved that they had toys there to play with and a big open space to play in as well as several educational areas. Best part is its totally free!!!
Today we took a field trip to the Pearson Air Museum. It was so much fun!
We even met a pilot who let us sit in his plane!!
